How can we change our habits and beliefs?

There are neural pathways created in the brain that we attempt to understand and “rewire” with repetitive messages in a subconscious state.

The brain is changeable. It is possible to let go of negative and destructive thoughts. New pathways can be forged. New beliefs can be created. This is known as Neuroplasticity.

Where are you based?

I am based in Cheltenham, United Kingdom but I am also available for online video conference calls for clients who don’t live locally or who live abroad.

How many sessions will it take and what if you can’t help?

Each person is an individual and everyone works through problems at a different pace. Generally, clients come for one to three sessions, depending on the seriousness of their concern, and in some cases additional sessions might be required.

What is hypnotherapy?

noun

  1. the use of hypnosis as a therapeutic technique.

So, what is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a natural state of relaxation. Under hypnosis you are in a subconscious state of mind, in contact with the resources of the unconscious mind – the vault of all past experiences and memories.

Why hypnotherapy?

We use hypnosis as a therapeutic tool to access subconscious memories.

Rapid Transformational Hypnotherapy uses hypnotic regression to access these memories and make sense of the beliefs that have been formed. In this state, you have a heightened awareness and focus, and an increased responsiveness to change. Accessing information in the unconscious part of our mind help us better understand our actions and motivations, which in turn help us change our habits and belief systems.

What does hypnosis feel like?

Hypnosis is essentially being in a trance-like state, which you’ve experienced countless times as you’ve drifted off to sleep or lost track of time daydreaming.

You are not asleep during hypnosis. You are awake and aware of everything that is happening around you. You are still in control. You can’t be made to do anything against your will.

What is the format of a hypnotherapy session?

We will first chat briefly about the topic you want to explore during hypnosis.

You will then enter hypnosis via a deep relaxation technique. I will guide you safely through a period of regression, after which we will work to understand what it means to you and to dispel old and irrelevant beliefs attached to events in your past. . I will then make a recording of suggestions tailor-made for your individual needs and all you have to do is listen to the recording for three consecutive weeks, relax and enjoy the experience. At the end of the session you are brought safely out of your hypnotised state, feeling in control and relaxed at all times.

You will be given a customised recording to listen to for twenty one days. You will receive follow-up text support at the end of each week of the first twenty days. Continued support, via email, is available to you.

Will I be asleep?

No. You are awake and alert, aware of everything that is happening throughout the session.

Will I be under the hypnotherapist’s power?

No. You are in charge. You cannot be made to do anything, and you cannot be taken into hypnosis against your will. It is your experience.

What if I can't be hypnotised?

Anyone can be hypnotised, as long as you wish to. It is an absolutely relaxing process.

Is it safe?

Absolutely. The routines we use are the safest in the world. You enter hypnosis via a deep relaxation technique and your exit is safe, controlled and relaxed at all times.
