Fears & phobias

A fear is generally based on an object or situation whereas phobias are a persistent fear for longer than six months, ranging from fears about specific objects or situations to social phobia and agoraphobia.

Fears and phobias are difficult to live with as the affected person will have significant distress, possibly even panic attacks, and will go to great lengths to avoid the situation or object. Resolving these fears will result in a more fulfilling, happier ‘you’.

Types of specific phobias that we assist with include the fear of certain animals like snakes and spiders, objects like clowns, natural environment situations like darkness or floods, blood or injury fears and specific situations such as public speaking, claustrophobia, flying or the fear of heights.

We can also look into social phobia if you fear group situations and interactions to the point of distress and impaired ability to function, where you are worried about others judging you.

If you suffer from agoraphobia (the constant fear of situations because you perceive the environment to be unsafe with no easy escape) you likely live with the constant trepidation of panic attacks. Let’s banish those fears together.

Both Rapid Transformational Therapy and/or Life Coaching offer substantial benefits to a range of issues, challenges or simply the feeling of being ‘stuck’. If what you are experiencing isn’t mentioned here please feel free to get in touch for an exploratory conversation.
